An Unwelcome Milestone

We just got our first correspondence from AARP.

Really? Are we there already?

I'm thinking they are really lowering their standards to be recruiting people so young! ;-)

They've lost so many members because of their support of the health care bill that I imagine they have to start recruiting a lot more people. There are a lot of better alternatives than AARP. But that's for several years down the road yet. You're still young. You're no where near as old as my mom. She's old. Blessings.

You are so behind the times. My grandfather's initials were the exact reverse of mine. I've been getting things for the elderly (under my maiden name) for years.

B's been on their mailing list for at least five years.

They sent me my first card when I was in my 20's.

We displayed it on the fridge for a while.....but I never screwed up my guts to try to use it.
